Fuel Services
Your car's fuel system is what gets the fuel you put into the tank into the car's engine. Once in the engine, the system transforms that fuel into energy to make your car run. Because fuel is the lifeblood of your car, fuel systems are built to last, and with regular maintenance should last the life of the car. Of course, there are always exceptions!

Fuel Injectors
Fuel injectors are coils of wire that carry electrical current that activates the pistons which deliver fuel to the engine.
Symptoms:
- →Engine is chugging or sputtering
- →Car engine stalls
- →The car shakes when idling
- →Your car won't start
- →You smell fuel

Fuel Pump
A motor in the fuel pump draws up gas from the car's gas tank and sends it up the fuel line and into the fuel rail where it's injected into a cylinder. A filter on one end of the pump keeps out impurities. A fuel float that floats on top of the fuel sends a signal through an electrical board that is read by the fuel gauge to indicate how much gas is left in your tank. Another float sits submerged in the tank and when it is exposed to air it triggers the Low Fuel Warning light to come on.
Symptoms:
- →You hear a whining noise from the fuel tank
- →Car engine stalls
- →The car sputters
- →You notice reduced gas mileage
- →There's a loss of power

Ignition Coil
Ignition coils transform power from the battery into enough voltage to ignite the spark plug and create the spark needed for combustion. In other words, ignition coils are a critical piece of keeping your engine running. They are basically copper wires wrapped around a piece of iron.
Symptoms:
- →You smell fuel
- →The car shakes when idling
- →The engine misfires
- →There's a loss of power
- →You notice fuel leaks

Spark Plugs
The spark plug takes in energy from the battery on one end and releases a spark on the other end that ignites the air and gas in the cylinders that creates combustion. The combustion is what powers your engine and as the car runs, the spark plugs continuously fire.
Symptoms:
- →You hear a ticking noise from the engine
- →The car shakes when idling
- →The engine misfires
- →There's a loss of power
- →You notice reduced gas mileage
