It’s not every day that a local business gets to celebrate 35 years of serving its community. At Sherwood Auto Repair, this remarkable milestone called for a grand celebration, and we were thrilled to share it with our incredible staff, valued customers, friends, and the wonderful residents of our community on Saturday, Oct. 16.
A Festive Gathering
With lively music setting the mood, our celebration was filled with joy and gratitude. We treated our guests to delightful charcuterie trays, scrumptious cupcakes, and a mouthwatering red velvet cake, courtesy of our friends at Trees Restaurant, a beloved local caterer. The kids had a blast in the bouncy house, and our raffle was a resounding success.
Generosity in Action
Our raffle prizes included some fantastic offerings like a $1,000 Sherwood Auto Repair gift card, a $750 gift card for the luxurious Allison Inn and Spa, an exhilarating stand-up paddleboard experience on the Sandy River, complete with lunch, bottles of fine wine, oil change vouchers, personal training sessions with Fit Alliance, stylish hats, and handy notebooks. The proceeds from this heartwarming raffle went to support Breast Friends, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting women on their journey through breast cancer. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the enthusiastic participation of our community, we were able to contribute $1,000 to this noble cause.
A Day of Fun and Community
The celebration wasn’t just about prizes and delectable treats. We also had local vendors showcasing their wonderful products, and everyone enjoyed games of cornhole. As an extra special treat, each guest received a Matchbox car as a token of our appreciation.
